I love to travel and I love to workout however I’ve struggled for years to combine the two. It can be a challenge to carve out an hour a day from your precious holiday to devote to fitness. More often than not you spend weeks if not months leading up to your holiday feeling the burn just to look your best. By the time you make it to your holiday squeezing in a workout is probably the last thing on your mind. After struggling for years, I compiled this simple workout. I do it while I travel and it really keeps those extra pounds at bay.
Why do I like it? It’s quick, it’s simple, and it can be done anywhere even if you’re not on holiday. We’re obviously all at different fitness levels but you can easily tailor this to fit you. I typically end up walking well over the distance specified everyday while I travel, sightseeing or just getting from point A to point B. The distance given is merely a minimum benchmark. I try to walk to and from breakfast, lunch and dinner whenever possible as well. Brisk walking is a great way to squeeze in a little cardio without disrupting your holiday.
